Hej!
Well I just got back from a 5-day trip over the long weekend to Stockholm, Sweden. What a beautiful country and people!
I was there for a wedding, but I did go for a few walk-abouts with the camera and clicked away.
I took my D200 and only two lenses - my Nikkor 18-35 F3.5-4.5 and a 35-70mm f2.8. Didn't have room for much more, but I didn't find I really needed anything more for street shooting.
The 40GB portable drive I bought a few weeks ago was invaluable. I copied out and stored about 15 Gb's worth of RAW images. It didn't fail (thank god!)
I've posted a few shots in the Portfolios->Travel section, but the whole series itself can be found under the Portfolios->Projects category.
That's all for now!

i'm curious... this 40GB portable drive, does it run on batteries?... how does it work exactly?... i have something called a hard drive usb enclosure, but it needs to be plugged into the outlet and also hooked up to a computer for me to transfer files onto it...
fantastic shots of sweden btw!
It runs on mains or an internal battery that can be recharged. I recharged once in Toronto, and used it for the whole 5 days without another charge.
Yeah, this is similar to the hard drive USB enclosure, but it has software preinstalled on it that reads data off the Compact Flash/SD card readers built on to the shell. It also has an LCD to show the amount of drive space left and status of any copying being done. There's a button on the side you just press once the card is inserted that copies files onto the drive (automatically creating folders etc. as necessary). Very simple but convenient device.
