Officially known as the Kingdom of Morocco (المملكة المغربية, al-Mamlakah al-Maġribiyya), this country is located in North Africa. I was lucky to be be able to travel through the lush area of Fez, south to the Sahara, west into the Atlas mountains and finally back north to Tangiers.

Bio
The photography bug caught me in the late '90s when I discovered an old but still working DSLR sitting in my basement. I've been pursuing photography as a hobby ever since. I love chasing that elusive unique photographic moment that occurs everywhere around us, every day in our lives but we often miss as we are too busy to look up.
I was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka but now live in Toronto, Canada. I love to travel with a camera around my neck and a Tilley hat on my head. I like chocolate chip cookies, drink a lot of tea with milk, and wear jeans 95% of the year.
What's my favourite type of photography? People. Candid portraits and street photography have been the styles of photography I’ve focused on the most recently. I’ll often attach a 35mm prime lens and walk around all day looking for interesting scenes. Though I do enjoy other types of photography, I find the photos that I love to look at again and again are the ones of people with a unique expression on their faces or are involved in a special moment. I look to magazines such as National Geographic and photographers like Steve McCurry for inspiration in this regard.
Thank you for visiting my site - I hope you enjoy going through the photos here as much as I enjoyed taking them.
